I want this to be real. Is it real?

There is no fucking way this is real. Proof being that the hole in the center is photoshopped. These seem to be images of an actual Dakhma taken in 1999 but that bit about the blood and the hazmat and the mysterious disappearances of the body is just junk. In cases like this the truth is often way more exciting and frightening than some dumb ghost/demon story and it makes me sad that people actually feel the need to add a fear factor to something as amazing as a Tower of Silence.
